And for good reason. If no one has noticed yet, DA is pro AI artwork and is even creating their own AI generating art tool. For some people, this is great, and as someone like me the technology is amazing! However, like with most human things, it's used in ways that is harming many people. Even though DA is now letting people have the option to automatically opt out of AI usage, many artwork has already been looked through and learned by AI for the past few months from what I read. So it doesn't matter if you opt out or not, it's already been learned. A massive amount of artists I watch have now gone dark or stored away all artwork in their accounts. With how bad DA has gotten over the years since being bought out by WIX, this is something I've never seen before. I have been personally inactive with art but I do check DA a few times a week to see all the cool artwork being posted. I just don't have a proper work station to actually sit down and draw. Getting My Life Back on Track
TL;DR: I'm tired of ADHD controlling my life so I'm going to learn coding, lose weight, finish old commissions, write, and draw again! Once my life took a major change years ago (new job, boyfriend, moving across the country, etc.) I've been absolutely all over the place. Massive Life Update (For the better??)
LONG TIME NO SEE. AGAIN. LIKE HOW I START ANY JOURNAL ANYMORE. So for the past two years, after moving down to Florida, I've lived with my boyfriend and his family. The idea was that we would all move down together into the same house, then after a little bit my boyfriend and I could move out and get our own place. That... sadly didn't work out very well. Some of you may know of the terrible conditions we've lived through, and the mental damage that has been done. However, finally, after two years, I FINALLY GOT MY OWN HOUSE! It's a tiny house, only 950 square feet, but for two people and a dog it's plenty big. And it's on half an acre! Move in day was on May 14th and we've been busy since then. We got off lucky with this house being in as great of a condition as it is, but we've had to do some repairs here and there which kept us busy. I'm working a full time job with wild hours and days, and Greg has started his own business, which means that he has more free time than me lol.
