Holy cow have I been updating these journals quite a bit in the past few weeks. 


For a TL;DR summary of what this journal is about:

I hit a deer, car is totaled, got a new car, monthly car payments on top of bills and college = INTENSE SADNESS, commissions will open MAY 9TH, will bust butt to draw more commissions, I am going to be organizing my gallery but nothing will be deleted, I made an Adoptable Only Account over on FA but anyone can contact me from anywhere to buy designs, friends taking commissions at bottom of journal, my cat is snoring, d'awww~


 FOR THE DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF MY LIFE:

Anyways, my last day of class for my junior year of college will be on May 9th, which means I'll be able to freely do more art, finish owed art I have, and take some new commissions. WOOT!

These past few has been pretty chaotic in terms of being busy with school essays and homework (especially all those petitions, geebus). Also on April 4th while commuting to my 8am class (it's a 40 minute drive), a deer ran out in front of me and I slammed into it, shooting up about 6 feet (~1.8m) up into the air and about 6-8 feet (~1.8-2.4m) off the side of the road into a thick thorn bushes. I'm totally fine, and my 98 Chevy Cavalier hit that deer like it wasn't even there; the car didn't jerk or anything even though I slammed into that animal going 45mph (~72 km/h). The deer died on impact which made me feel a little better because I was expecting to eventually get out and put it out of its misery myself. 

Even though my car took it like a champ, it did more damage to the car than what the car was worth. After hitting the deer (and fuming in front of my car) I tried to see if I can make it to school since the car was still working. However the fat deer hit the car in a way where it destroyed the radiator so my car was puffing white not even a few miles down the road. I took one stop, and since I thought, "Well I went this far so maybe I can still make it to school before it overheats again" I tried to go further, but not even two miles afterward the car was really struggling so I had to pull over and call the parents to come with a trailer and pick it up while my mom took me to school. Got there over an hour and a half later but I made sure after I hit the deer to send an email as well as include a photo of my car to show I wasn't making an excuse (gotta love technology). 

However I got a new car on April 9th which is a Red Hot 2014 Sonic LT Sedan. 

THIS CAR IS AMAZING AHHHHH. 

A huge difference between a 98 Cavalier and a brand new 2014 vehicle (so many buttons omg), and I was happy that during the time I didn't have a car the dealership gave me a loaner car (the same as the new car I have now but it was gray) to drive around and learn about. My friend declared the new car's name shall be Knuckles, because it's red, and it's a Sonic.

I didn't think it would but god dammit the name has stuck.

1998 - 2014

*It's named Howard because the first three letters of my license plate was HWD and the name Howard popped into my mind don'tjudge

So I'm planning to take as many commissions as I can this summer to really help me pay off future car payments. The old car was declared totaled so I got a bit of cash for it, but with monthly car payments alongside taxes and soon-to-be college student loans that will haunt my life for a while next year, I need the cash badly. I will put my butt into gear with doing these commissions for the future, count on it! *tries to kick lazy ass into gear*

FOR THE ART GALLERY THINGY

I've been thinking on organizing my gallery a bit better for a while now and will probably do so over the next couple of days. I WILL NOT BE DELETING ANY ART. I believe in leaving my old art up (no matter how bad it looks) to help motivate myself and others by showing that if you continue to practice you'll grow as an artist and continue to get better than you ever were before. I will be deleting those adoptable images because I have officially made myself an adoptable only page over on FurAffinity.

Instead of spamming you all with adoptable updates, I decided to just make an account to host them all. Anyone from any website can buy them. FA was just my choice since it seems like more people buy animal adopts over there. For now that just seems like all the updates I can think of. I will still occasionally update commission statuses for friends and even update for petitions to sign to save the internet from fat, greedy politicians/corporations, but other than that personal things are usually kept to myself, because I know a lot of you are thinking  when artists post personal updates.

This woman is a chibi master, JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!! Seriously guys, go commission her. She will chibi-fy your characters awesomely.
